- So, Bart & I started our lives together as High School Sweethearts. We met long before High School but started dating the summer before our Senior year, 1994! He was so sweet, I'll never forgot our Sophomore year, we were talking about my B-day when I'd turn 16 & how I was not going to get anything special, etc...etc...Bart & I had several classes together that year. My b-day came & was uneventful all day until I walked into my last hour class & found a bouquet of peach roses on my desk. I guess you could say I've been smitten ever since...... Bart & I have had several ups & downs together & each time draw together all the more closely. I believe what we've been thru has made us stonger individually & together. We have 2 amazing kids, Madelyn (7) & Cole (1 almost 2). I never knew I could love so much as when I looked for the 1st time into each of their eyes.
